The Failure of Romanian Public Services in Modern Era

Abstract
The failure of Romanian public services in the modern era is characterized by inefficiencies, corruption, and a lack of adequate infrastructure and human resources. Despite efforts to modernize and integrate into the European Union, many sectors, including healthcare, education, and transportation, continue to struggle with outdated practices and insufficient funding. Bureaucratic delays, poor management, and political interference have exacerbated the challenges faced by public institutions. As a result, citizens often experience subpar services, undermining trust in the state and hindering the country’s overall development. This abstract examines the root causes of these failures and suggests potential reforms for improvement.
